Paul Standifer was a talented young artist who was deeply committed to filmmaking and the creative process. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree from the Department of Radio-Television-Film. During his brief career Paul established a particular interest in film production and cinematography. He demonstrated his commitment to the collaborative nature of his art form by supporting his fellow film students through encouraging words and deeds.

About The Paul Pierre Standifer Endowed Scholarship in Film Production

The Paul Pierre Standifer Endowed Scholarship in Film Production was established by the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System on August 29, 2002, for the benefit of the College of Communication. Gift funds were provided by Mr. Ronald C. Standifer of Fort Worth. The endowment honors Mr. Paul Pierre Standifer of Austin, a 2000 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin College of Communication.

The Paul Pierre Standifer Endowed Scholarship in Film Production was created to celebrate his legacy and to encourage the continuation of his ideals. The scholarship will help other emerging film students achieve their educational and career goals.
