James Mirabal, P.E. Endowed Scholarship in Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering

May 23, 2011 | Scholarships

This endowment was established in 2011 by Jason Mirabal in honor of his father James Mirabal. As an Architectural Engineering student from 1992-1997, Jason Mirabal can attest to the impact his undergraduate engineering education has had on his professional construction career. One of his primary sources of encouragement during his engineering undergraduate days was his father, James Mirabal, P.E., who through his own example and personal life journey, always demonstrated commitment, self-sacrifice, humility, and perseverance. Without his father’s full support and exemplar, he would not be the person he is today. Jason established this endowed scholarship in his father’s name as a way to both pay tribute to his legacy and to encourage future civil and architectural engineers to pursue their academic dreams.
